Cami Bunting
Human Resources Officer
Cami Bunting is the N.C. Zoo’s Human Resources Officer and oversees a full-time staff of four while administering the Zoo’s personnel program to approximately 370 permanent and seasonal staff. She is a member of the Zoo’s senior management team and a certified Development Dimensions International (DDI) Targeted Selection Facilitator and a certified facilitator for DDI’s Learning Systems.
Prior to becoming the Park's HR Officer, Cami spent 13 years working in the Human Resources section, most of those as the Staff Recruitment and Development leader, where she handled staff training, applicant screening, hiring and administering policy.
Cami is a native of Asheboro and graduated with an Associate Degree in Microcomputer Systems Technology from Randolph Community College. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
