Birthday Parties
Take advantage of the zoo education team for a fun, educational and hassle-free birthday party. Each birthday party lasts up to one-and-a-half hours and can be scheduled Saturdays at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. Birthday parties are held in the Stedman Education Building located beside the North America entrance. Parties are designed as child-centered and for children turning 5 and up.

**Admission Passes will be mailed upon receipt of final numbers and payment (no later than two weeks before party date.)
***Education program is age appropriate (for 5 years old and up) and based on one of the following themes:
- Fantastic Jurassic (Dinosaur party available only April through October; discounted tickets to the Dinosaurs Exhibit available for an additional $2 per person)
- African Safari
- The Three Bears (Black Bear, Grizzly Bear and Polar Bear)
- Scutes, Scales and Slippery Skin (reptiles and amphibians)
SOCIETY MEMBERS RECEIVE A 15 PERCENT DISCOUNT OFF BASIC PARTY PACKAGE PRICE.

Live Animal
Meet one of our education-collection animals and learn about the features that make them unique. Animal preferences may be mentioned on the registration form, but we cannot guarantee their availability. Our collection includes: snakes, box turtle and opossum.
Goody Bags
Goody bags are available for $5/child (must be specified on registration form). Goody bags have about 7 animal-related items included. There are no food items in the bags. Age range for goody bags: 3-7 years old.

REGISTRATION
Registration must be completed a minimum of two weeks from the party date. To register, please call 336-879-7700.
If the number of participants change, you must contact the ticketing helpline to cancel and re-register your party. This option is only available up to two weeks before the party. Changes are not accepted less than two weeks from the scheduled party.
Want Something Simpler?
Zoo birthdays offered through the Education Division are an all-inclusive package. At this time, we do not offer coordinated birthday opportunities any other way. But don’t rule the zoo out yet! The zoo is a great place to come with the family or a larger group. Below are several ideas to help you coordinate your special day for your loved one.
Is your child under 5 and wants a birthday party at the zoo? We can offer the options listed below along with some ala carte goodie bags and/or an animal encounter. Call the education department for more details at 336-879-7715.
