Heads up! The North Carolina Zoo opened a new giraffe deck on June 6, 2009. You'll be able to get eye-to-eye with these long-legged giants, an experience you'll never forget. Closes for the season, November 2.

The Acacia Station Giraffe Deck is open, but we need your assistance. You are invited to help the Zoo keepers train the young giraffes. Free deck Admission for a limited time.
The deck has a beautiful treetop view so it's a great place for group photos and for viewing our large herd of giraffes.
Open daily 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
