We appreciate the veterans who have served our country.
In honor of Veterans Day, the North Carolina Zoo offers FREE admission to military personnel, veterans, and their spouses. This includes free admission for up to three additional accompanying guests for Military Appreciation Week, Nov. 9-15, 2024.
When you arrive at the admissions booths, look for the Military Appreciation Table to get your vouchers upon confirmation of your military ID.
This special military discount is offered to all active duty, reserve, veteran, retired military personnel and military spouses, and is only available on-site. Please bring any of the following to qualify for the discount:
- US Veterans ID
- Military ID
- DD-214 with Photo ID
- State driver’s license with veteran indicator or military identifier
- ID issued by the VA, VFW, or American Legion
*Please note: maximum of 4 entries per ID, including the ID holder. Military dependents other than spouses will not be eligible for the discount.
