Please follow these guidelines to request ticket donations from the North Carolina Zoo.
The North Carolina Zoo receives many requests for ticket donations each month. Regrettably, we cannot fill all donation requests. If a request is approved, an organization may receive a maximum of 4 tickets per fiscal year.
To be eligible for tickets, an organization must submit request either by email or fax a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to the date tickets are needed. We cannot accept requests by phone. Only requests for fundraising for non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations are considered. We are unable to donate tickets for prizes/awards or incentives.
Please make sure to include the following in the request on official letterhead for your
charity/organization:
- Non-profit status
- Specific date you need tickets by
- Name of event with details explaining who will benefit from the event
- Contact person (Person’s name you would like tickets made “Attention to”)
- The address and phone number of where to mail the tickets. We do not send tickets to private residences, only businesses.
We are unable to answer calls or emails relating to the status of donation requests as there are several stages of the approval process. If approved, your tickets should arrive between 1-2 weeks prior to date given and be good for 1 year from the mailing date. Regrettably, we cannot fill all ticket requests, nor do we replace lost, stolen or expired tickets.
